Dan Mish - Picasso's Guitar

The Bell House Gallery presents Dan Mish and Matthew Picton on 2nd Friday, September 9, from 5-8pm at 104 S. Market Street, Talent, Oregon (next to Tarks Grocery). Works by Robert Beckmann, Peter Van Fleet and David Lorenz Winston will also be on exhibit.



                                   Picasso's Guitar - 30"x40" - Dan Mish

Using the power of bold colors layered in a patchwork of abstract shapes, Mish creates a checkerboard of distressed textured surfaces evoked chapters of ordeal, memories, fears, and emotions once pushed into dark corners now exposed and raw.

Dan's work has been exhibited in galleries from Miami to Los Angeles.

Matthew Picton - Orinoco River

Matthew Picton is a British-born artist living and working in Southern Oregon, "His work is influenced by cartography and the inherent beauty of lines and forms that arise from natural topography and built environments."

Matthew's work, at once painterly and sculptural, has been exhibited in Stuttgart, London, New York and Portland.
